Today President Obama made a speech. It was packed with honest and hopeful information. You can go to www.cnn.com and watch it.
President Obama says, that Nation "will emerge stronger" ! The United States will overcome its current economic struggles!
In his first speech to a joint session of Congress, President Obama outlined an ambitious agenda to revive the economy, saying it's time to act boldly "to build a new foundation for lasting prosperity."
That is sad. He is taking on the most difficult situation of our country we have had in our lifetime. It's a job I wouldn't want for any amount of money! I appreciate the fact he speaks to the American people with honesty and keeps us informed, unlike anything we have been use to in too many years to remember.
His speech was honest, to the point, on the state of the economy and all the different sectors which need to be corrected and new ideas implemented to get this country started again. He put forth his ideas on how the stimulus will begin being dispersed, getting on track with insurance for all citizens, going through the federal budget line by line and removing all waste, and well almost an hour of very clear, concise information.
Will President Obama be capable of rescuing american economy? Yes! Let's hope so ... He keeps saying, "Yes we can..." - so we gotta give him a chance.

Today Robert G Kaiser from the Washington Post says,
"Well, this was an extraordinary speech. We certainly do have a new president. My own reaction was that Obama looked stronger and more confident tonight than I have ever seen him before - and he has never lacked for confidence in the past..." and I am agree with him.
We can overcome any obstacle, and this crisis also.
